WORSHIP & MUSIC: Our objective is to develop a congregation with a life-enriching sense of praise & worship. This includes recognizing and satisfying our deep need to behold, appreciate, and reverence the Lord God Almighty, as well as honoring His saving & interceding Son, by the Holy Spirit granted to us. We do this through attention to Biblical knowledge, personal expression and attitude of the leadership, and careful planning and preparation. Music, drama and Scripture portions are means by which worship is created and supported. We welcome inputs in all these areas of expression. Music may be vocal or instrumental and we utilize various instruments, a choir, ensembles, quartets, trios, duets and soloists. We intend to employ numerous persons, and seek to prepare them to make a best effort participation in our services.

MISSIONS: Since its founding, the Sun City West Christian Church has strongly supported missions. This support has been led by the leaders of the church who have designated 11% of the budget for missions. The congregation has contributed faithfully to the budget as well as to numerous special offerings for missions.
This support for missions has resulted in the Church becoming a partner with missionaries working in distance overseas countries and in "fields" nearer to home. Thus the outreach of SCWCC extends to Brazil, Africa, the distant Pacific Island of New Guinea, Navajo Land, the Muslim World and the Native American community in eastern Arizona.
The Missions Committee includes members of the congregation who have a special heart for taking the gospel to the world. The committee corresponds regularly with the sponsored missionaries, arranges visits by them to the church and keeps the church up-to-date on activities in the mission fields. The Committee prepares a Missions budget each year to allocate the available funds and makes miscellaneous contributions to missions work during the year.
Sun City West Christian Church through its missions outreach takes seriously the Lord's command to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel."

FELLOWSHIP: The Fellowship Committee plans a monthly event for the Church body where everyone can enjoy Christian fellowship. These events give everyone a chance to become better acquainted and to feel the love of Christ. Some of the events we have had are the annual picnic, the Christmas dinner and an Old Fashion Ice Cream Social that is the favorite event for many of us. Everyone looks forward to the monthly fellowship times.

OUTREACH: At Sun City West Christian Church, the Outreach Ministry is designed to help fulfill our church purpose, "To know Christ and make Him known."
Our Outreach Ministry team delivers homemade cookies to our first-time guests and share the various ministries offered at SCWCC. Following this contact, the "Welcome Guest" telephone committee makes contact with our valued guests. This ministry also provides welcome baskets to the recipents of Habitat for Humanity homes in the area.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY: To encourage each woman to study the Bible and apply its principles to daily living. To provide an opportunity for development of friendship and sharing love with others through prayer and positive deeds. (II Tim. 2:15 & 3:16,17). This is the mission statement for the Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF), which is an active arm of the church.
Bible study is an important segment of the Women's Ministry so we have set aside Monday each week (except for June, July and August) for the Bible study segment. The women's ministry also actively participates in a variety of other activities. All ladies are encouraged to participate in any or all of the various functions available. Any lady would be happy to bring you for your first time. Just call the church at 623-584-5688 and let us know.
